This is a bottle keeper made from ibushi-style roof tiles, which are used in famous Japanese architecture and cultural assets.

We don't need water or ice, as the tiles retain their cool by their characteristic heat of vaporisation.

Condensation on the bottle is absorbed by the tiles.

The pattern on the bottle keeper, 'Seigaiha', looks like endless gentle waves, and therefore means 'a wish for a long and peaceful future'.
