Toan's flower-crystal technique is a one-of-a-kind technique in which the glaze is fired at a high heat to create a beautiful glow.

The "Saihatsu Chopsticks, Krystal" brand was inherited by his apprentice Yuya Fujii, who took over the playful chopsticks left behind by Masayoshi Matoba, a legendary craftsman who devoted his life to Wakasa-nuri chopsticks.
