Finca Sophenia 'Altosur' Cabernet Sauvignon

Finca Sophenia was founded in 1997 by Roberto Luka, who was formerly President of Wines of Argentina. Named after his partner´s daughter, Sophia and his own daughter, Eugenia, Finca Sophenia has earned its place amongst the top quality wine producers from Argentina.

The Altosur wines represent Sophenia's entry-level wines, and we find them to be some of the best values of their type in the market. Like the Altosur Malbec, this is a really classy wine for under $15. Most Cabs at this price point are junk, but not this one with classic Cabernet notes of cassis, blackberry, mint and pepper.
