Traditional YAEYAMA Minsah has been made for about 400 years. The threads are dyed with motifs of Yaeyama's nature and carefully woven by skilled craftsperson.
"Niraikanai" means a paradise beyond the sea where the gods live, and is said to bring happiness.
The gradation of ocean colors are deep and the carefully woven hand-woven fabric is very durable.
The pattern is filled with a wish for "long-lasting happiness," making it a good gift for wedding and housewarming gifts!

Colors will fade continued exposure to direct sunlight.
When soiled, dab with a well-wringed cloth or wash in cold water.
If the stain still persists, wash by hand gently with a mild detergent. Do not wring or squeeze the cloth strongly by hand, as this will cause wrinkling and loss of shape.
Remove moisture with a towel and hang dry in the shade.
