* It's our choice in Serendipity Woods for all our hand binding projects! We find it a bit sturdier than traditionally-used 40wt threads for standing the test of time for quilts we want to last through life and launderings. We also love the matte finish for softness.
About Sulky 30 Wt:
To begin, it's 1/3 thicker than your standard 40 Wt. quilting cotton. This allows your quilting or appliqué to stand out from the crowd! All Sulky Cotton Threads are premier quality, long staple, highly mercerized Egyptian cotton with a matte finish to create a soft, warm, natural look and feel.
